I'm obsessed with AI dynamics, cognition, and learning systems — not because I studied them but because I couldn't stop thinking about them.I write sporadically. I build curricula. I write nonfiction books I may or may not ever publish.I make things. With my hands, with words, with ideas.I came to professional life late. What I know was worked out through experience rather than institution. Do with that what you will.My daily life involves two adult sons at home (and one out of the home), a dog, documentaries, gig work. I was born and have lived all my life in Jacksonville, Florida — save for a few teenage years in Montana.
